Financial Controller – Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Financial Controller to lead accounting, treasury, and reporting functions for our growing business. This night‑shift, office‑based position will support multiple entities, investor obligations, and joint‑venture reporting while ensuring robust internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records across all group entities and design the chart of accounts.
• Oversee monthly close, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and audit‑ready financial statements.
• Manage cash position, rolling cash‑flow forecasts, and capital‑budget tracking for infrastructure projects.
• Prepare board and investor reporting packs, reconcile financial models, and deliver variance analysis.
• Coordinate treasury activities in USD, AED, and NGN, including Bitcoin custody and digital‑asset accounting.
• Act as primary finance liaison for external advisers, auditors, and tax partners.
• Develop finance function capabilities for commercial operations starting January 2027.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial accounting, reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with cash management, treasury operations, and multi‑currency environments.
• Ability to prepare board‑level reports and support investor communications.
• Proven track record of working with external advisers and audit teams.
