Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Financial Controller to lead the finance function for a pre‑revenue modular high‑performance computing venture that will launch commercial operations in January 2027. Based in our India office, you will be the first dedicated finance hire, responsible for building robust accounting processes and supporting the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own the group’s bookkeeping, chart of accounts and monthly close across all entities.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, expense management and day‑to‑day financial controls.
• Develop and maintain cash‑flow forecasts, monitor burn rate, runway and capital deployment for Phase 1 and Phase 2 projects.
• Administer investor obligations, including quarterly preferred dividends from Q3 2026.
• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, board reports and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with external advisers (Deloitte, Templars, TLP Advisory) and banking partners for tax, audit, treasury and custody matters.
• Build the finance function for commercial operations, including revenue recognition and Bitcoin treasury management.

Required profile

• Experience in finance leadership within high‑growth or pre‑revenue technology companies.
• Strong understanding of cash management, runway analysis and capital budgeting.
• Proven ability to set up accounting systems, internal controls and reporting frameworks.
• Comfort working with multiple currencies (USD, AED, NGN) and international investors.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with board, investors and external advisers.
