Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance function for a key manufacturing client in India. The role oversees end‑to‑end financial management, including reporting, compliance, audits, internal controls, treasury and business partnering across multiple plants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning processes.
• Drive financial planning and analysis, variance analysis, KPI dashboards and MIS reporting.
• Partner with business leaders and plant heads on performance reviews and strategic decisions.
• Prepare financial models for capex, new projects, product launches and tenders.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under Ind AS/IFRS and ensure timely group consolidation.
• Manage inter‑company accounting, transfer pricing compliance (Form 3CEB, Master File, CbCR) and related documentation.
• Lead all statutory, group, tax, GST and internal audits, acting as the single point of contact for auditors.
• Design and strengthen internal controls, drive automation and process‑efficiency initiatives.
• Oversee plant accounting, product costing, standard costing and yield analysis.
• Manage working capital, cash‑flow planning, treasury and trade finance instruments.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of post‑qualification experience in finance.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• Proven experience in manufacturing or multi‑plant environments.
• Strong technical finance expertise and ability to partner with business leaders.
