Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Financial Controller to lead our finance function with an AI‑first mindset. You will combine traditional accounting expertise with cutting‑edge automation to support our fast‑growing tech business and prepare for a potential IPO.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, audits, financial reporting and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead budgeting, management information systems (MIS) and investor reporting, leveraging AI‑driven insights.
• Identify repetitive finance tasks and automate them using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude.
• Design and implement scalable, automated finance workflows.
• Provide data‑backed financial analysis and predictive insights to drive business growth.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and IPO‑related documentation with enhanced accuracy.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with 3–7 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Hands‑on experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude or similar) to automate finance processes.
• Proven track record of reducing manual effort and improving efficiency through automation.
• Experience in startup or technology environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset with ownership attitude.
• IPO experience is a plus.
