Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the end‑to‑end financial close process, ensure compliance with Indian GAAP and regulatory standards, and provide insightful financial reporting to senior leadership. This role also oversees audit coordination, tax compliance, treasury management, and drives process automation across the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial close cycles and produce accurate financial statements.
• Deliver timely financial reports and analytical insights to leadership and stakeholders.
• Act as primary contact for statutory, tax and internal auditors, ensuring full audit compliance.
• Maintain compliance with Indian accounting, regulatory and tax requirements, strengthening internal controls.
• Oversee all tax filings, GST, TDS and income tax assessments, staying current with regulatory changes.
• Manage treasury operations, optimise working capital, and prepare weekly/monthly cash‑flow forecasts.
• Maintain relationships with banks and financial partners.
• Drive automation and efficiency in accounting and reporting workflows.
• Support implementation, enhancement and adoption of ERP/financial systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial control, audit coordination, tax compliance and treasury management.
• Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP, GST, TDS and related regulatory frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to improve internal processes and implement ERP solutions.
