Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will oversee the organisation's financial operations, ensuring accurate, reliable, and compliant reporting. This position plays a pivotal role in safeguarding assets, managing risk, and supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present timely financial statements and accounting records in line with applicable standards and regulations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, reporting findings to senior management.
• Develop, maintain, and regularly test internal control systems to prevent fraud and ensure data accuracy.
• Create and update financial policies and procedures for consistent organisational practice.
• Select, implement, and maintain financial systems and software, coordinating with IT for seamless integration.
• Prepare and submit statutory and regulatory reports, assisting other departments as needed.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and examinations.

Required profile

• Deep technical knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
