Financial Controller

About the role

Driffle is seeking a seasoned, hands‑on Finance Controller to own the end‑to‑end finance function for its global group of entities. The role is responsible for accounting, reporting, compliance and financial governance across multiple jurisdictions, and will work closely with senior leadership to support the company’s rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee group accounting and financial reporting for multiple jurisdictions, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, managing inter‑company accounting, reconciliations, eliminations and transfer pricing support.
• Manage finance operations including bookkeeping, payroll accounting, GST, TDS, statutory filings and audits, partnering with HR on payroll and headcount planning.
• Coordinate external accounting, tax, payroll and compliance partners, ensuring accuracy, timelines and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
• Supervise marketplace accounting functions such as revenue recognition, commission accounting, settlement tracking and variance analysis, and monitor cash flows to improve liquidity.
• Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, variance analysis and financial performance reviews, providing actionable insights to senior management.
• Design, implement and maintain a robust internal control framework, identifying financial risks and ensuring governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance functions for global or multi‑entity organizations.
• Strong knowledge of Indian Company Law, tax regulations (GST, TDS) and statutory filing requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage external service providers and coordinate audits and regulatory filings.
• Experience with consolidation, inter‑company accounting and transfer pricing processes.
• Ability to partner with senior leadership and provide strategic financial insights.
