Financial Controller

About the role

DESMI is seeking a Financial Controller to join its dynamic finance team. You will play a key role in shaping financial performance, supporting international operations, and ensuring compliance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements, budgets and short‑term forecasts, monitoring variances and identifying key drivers.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, perform reconciliations, monitor working capital and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Support international transactions such as bank guarantees, letters of credit and foreign remittances, maintaining proper documentation.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and audit requirements, including tax filings, regulatory reporting and coordination with external auditors.

Required profile

• Relevant financial education (e.g., degree in finance, accounting or related field).
• Experience in accounting within an international company or an audit firm.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when handling financial data and reporting.
• Comfortable working with financial systems and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Proactive, analytical mindset with an understanding of financial mechanics in international operations.
