Financial Controller – Corporate Consolidation

About the role

The Financial Controller – Corporate Consolidation leads the consolidation, analysis, and reporting for Haleon's Corporate and Unallocated (COU) segment. You will provide accurate financial insights to the COU Director and senior leadership, supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate and analyse month‑to‑date, quarter‑to‑date and year‑to‑date financial results for the COU segment versus plan, forecast and prior year.
• Prepare and coordinate financial commentaries, ensuring alignment with Group standards.
• Present consolidated performance, risks and insights to senior stakeholders.
• Lead planning, forecasting and budgeting cycles for COU functions, challenging assumptions.
• Review and challenge balance‑sheet movements, working capital, headcount, provisions, accruals, Capex and AUC.
• Conduct deep‑dive analyses of balances, allocation accuracy and slow‑moving items.
• Ensure compliance with reporting timelines, SOX controls and internal finance policies.
• Partner with market owners and the Group as a trusted finance advisor.
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting, controlling, planning and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 10+ years post‑qualification experience in financial controlling, FP&A or audit within a complex global organisation.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to operate at a strategic level.
• Experience in planning, forecasting and performance management.
• Understanding of end‑to‑end R2R processes and finance systems.
• Experience working in a SOX‑controlled environment.
