Financial Controller – AIF (Cat‑II)

About the role

NovumLake Partners is looking for a process‑oriented Financial Controller with a Chartered Accountant qualification to oversee finance and compliance for its Category‑II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF), the investment manager entity, and associated SPVs. This senior position reports directly to the Founder/CEO and offers a fast‑track career path in a high‑growth real‑estate investment firm.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, taxation laws, and audit requirements.
• Prepare financial statements and investor reports.
• Monitor internal controls, accounting policies, and SOPs across all units.
• Manage liquidity, working capital, treasury functions and support debt‑raising activities.
• Serve as the primary liaison for auditors, bankers, and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (CA).
• 5+ years of post‑qualification experience in AIF finance and compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and leadership abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
