Financial Control Analyst – Accounting & Reporting

About the role

The Financial Control Analyst will manage the company’s accounting records, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee key accounting operations. This role is pivotal in delivering accurate monthly financial close and insightful performance commentary.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly closing of the General Ledger (GL) module.
• Prepare monthly commentary on the company’s financial performance.
• Develop and maintain monthly closing schedules and related workings.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely completion of closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports, analyze financial data, and oversee income statement preparation.
• Manage financial transactions and streamline accounting functions and operations.
• Execute any other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• CA Finalist or ACCA Member with articles completed.
• 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and the UK accounting and tax framework.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
