Financial Analyst

About the role

MTX Group Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst with strong expertise in core financial areas. The analyst will evaluate performance, identify business drivers, and create forecasts to support strategic decisions. This position works closely with internal stakeholders to improve financial visibility and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly financial planning, revenue accruals, forecasting, and project profitability analysis.
• Analyze actual performance versus budget, explain variances, and highlight key trends.
• Develop and evaluate financial forecasts, budgets, and scenario analyses.
• Identify and implement improvements to internal controls and reporting processes.
• Support communication and training on new financial procedures.
• Maintain financial dashboards, KPI reports, and balance‑sheet metrics.
• Prepare management presentations for executive leadership reviews.
• Assist with month‑end close, audit coordination, and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and variance reporting.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams and supporting internal controls.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to senior leadership.
