Financial Accountant

About the role

Renesas is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its Altium India finance team. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate month‑end close, statutory compliance, audit coordination and day‑to‑day finance operations supporting the business and its stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Perform month‑end close activities, including journal preparation, balance‑sheet reconciliations, accruals, payroll accounting, pre‑payments and lease accounting.
• Support timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Maintain schedules and reconciliations to ensure audit readiness.
• Coordinate local tax compliance, prepare tax filings and statutory returns, and keep supporting documentation.
• Lead annual statutory audits, prepare audit schedules, reconciliations and documentation, and liaise with auditors.
• Provide finance support for vendor payments, banking, employee reimbursements, corporate card administration, invoicing, collections and accounts receivable.
• Act as a key finance contact for operational matters and support board meetings, AGM and company secretarial requirements.
• Collaborate with local service providers, advisors and global finance teams on governance and regulatory matters.

Required profile

• Strong experience in month‑end close and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of statutory tax compliance and filing requirements.
• Experience coordinating external audits and preparing audit documentation.
• Ability to provide finance operations support to internal stakeholders.
• Familiarity with corporate governance processes and board support.
