Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to become the primary financial owner of a fast‑growing, regulated cross‑border payments fintech. Reporting directly to the Finance Head, you will drive accounting, compliance, treasury, and investor reporting while building robust financial processes in a high‑trust, high‑ownership environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all FEMA and RBI compliance filings, including ODI, APR, FLA, Form FC, UIN maintenance, and ECB/CCD reporting.
• Ensure timely GST returns (GSTR‑1, 3B, 9, 9C), TDS/TCS filings, advance tax, and transfer‑pricing assessments.
• Coordinate statutory and internal audits with Big‑4 or mid‑tier auditors across all entities.
• Oversee multi‑currency bank accounts, foreign‑currency exposure, and structured instruments (CCDs, CCPS) compliance.
• Prepare monthly cash‑burn, escrow reconciliation, working‑capital forecasts, and short‑/medium‑term cash‑flow projections.
• Own end‑to‑end bookkeeping, financial statements, MIS reports, and consolidation entries in accordance with Ind AS.
• Build financial models for budgeting, scenario planning, and funding decisions; create board and investor decks.
• Design SOPs for accounts payable, expense management, period‑close, and implement ERP solutions (Tally, Zoho Books or equivalents) with appropriate controls.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (ICAI) qualification – mandatory.
• 3–4 years of experience in finance within a regulated fintech or payments environment.
• Strong knowledge of Indian statutory compliance, FEMA, RBI, GST, and Ind AS.
• Hands‑on experience with multi‑currency treasury, structured instruments, and audit coordination.
• Ability to work onsite in Bangalore and collaborate with product, operations, and partnership teams.
