Finance Controller

About the role

As a Finance Controller within Capgemini’s Finance team, you will deliver accurate financial insights, support management decisions and ensure compliance with accounting principles. You will work closely with business leaders to analyse performance and drive actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform variance analysis of actuals versus forecast and budget, challenging figures where necessary.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements and KPI summaries, analysing trends for insight.
• Apply accrual‑based accounting principles, including revenue and cost recognition.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist with data uploads from GFS to HFM and validate data integrity.
• Utilise GFS and HFM functionalities for financial consolidation and reporting.
• Develop and present management dashboards, leading discussions with business leaders on the findings.

Required profile

• 6–15 years of experience in FP&A, financial reporting and P&L management.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CA, CMA or MBA Finance preferred.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data, identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GFS and HFM (or similar consolidation tools).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in MIS reporting and dashboard preparation.
