Senior Analyst I - Source-to-Pay Audit

About the role

PRGX, a provider of source-to-pay data analytics and software, is hiring a Senior Analyst I in Pune. The role supports global teams in analysing structured and unstructured retail transactions and financial data to recover lost money for clients. Candidates must be authorised to work in India without sponsorship.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse transaction and financial data to identify overpayments, duplicate payments, uncollected allowances, missed rebates and agreement validation issues.
• Audit client data and run production statements and duplicate audits against assigned targets.
• Review accounting transactions between client and vendor books to find credit balances and payments to wrong vendors.
• Maintain and update process documentation (SOPs) and keep the team informed of process changes.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert, resolve queries, coach and train new team members, and conduct audit-related training.
• Review emails, contracts, claims and other documents, and perform end-to-end audit activities.
• Work with AI and automation teams on process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 5-10 years of experience in Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliations and query resolution.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Commerce, Finance or Accounting.
• Experience with large datasets and data analysis, forecasting or estimation.
• Ability to identify recovery audit opportunities across the Source-to-Pay (S2P) cycle.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and initiative; confident, proactive and solution-oriented.

Required skills

• ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or OnBase (Tally excluded).
• Power BI and other reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of accounting and accounts payable processes.
