Finance Controller

About the role

The Finance Controller will lead the end‑to‑end financial closing, compliance and reporting processes for an airport‑focused organization. You will work closely with auditors, tax authorities and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial statements and strategic financial planning.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial closing of books, ensuring compliance with Ind AS and GAAP and timely audit completion.
• Manage capex execution within approved budgets and schedules.
• Direct accounts receivable and payable functions, guaranteeing accurate billing, revenue protection and vendor payments.
• Handle tax compliance, filing returns, responding to queries and managing appeals to avoid penalties.
• Prepare annual operating plans (AOP), MIS reports and variance analysis for senior management.
• Develop financial models and future projections to support strategic decisions and financing proposals.
• Engage with regulators, banks, AAI, MoCA and other stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and timely submissions.
• Drive non‑aero revenue initiatives, identifying new revenue streams and expanding them across airports.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent, or MBA in Finance.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
