Finance Controller

About the role

The Finance Controller will lead the controllership function for Avery Dennison RBIS, overseeing accounting, reporting, compliance and treasury activities across the global organization. This senior position reports to senior finance leadership and works closely with operations, supply chain and FP&A teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Controllership, Accounting & Reporting for the entity.
• Oversee global and regional group reporting, external and internal audit, and group compliance.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP.
• Manage teams responsible for General Ledger, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Asset Management and Project Accounting.
• Direct statutory reporting, tax, VAT and legal compliance, maintaining relationships with tax authorities and banks.
• Control post‑costing processes and benchmark standard costing through ERP systems.
• Support FP&A, operations and supply‑chain finance functions.
• Assist Accounts Receivable and Collections teams.
• Lead corporate secretarial, compliance and legal matters.
• Drive system automation projects, including capital‑expenditure payment and tracking.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in a similar finance controllership role within an MNC or manufacturing environment.
• Post‑graduation/MBA in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CMA or ACCA.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and able to meet tight deadlines independently.
