Finance Controller – India

About the role

The Finance Controller will be the senior finance leader for TechGrove’s India platform, reporting to Corporate Finance and working closely with the General Manager. The role is responsible for end‑to‑end financial governance, treasury oversight, and building scalable finance operations that align with Banyan’s global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all financial reporting, month‑end close and balance‑sheet governance for TechGrove and related entities.
• Ensure reporting accuracy, accrual discipline, reconciliation integrity and transparent variance analysis.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning in partnership with the General Manager.
• Support platform EBITDA performance through cost governance and financial insight.
• Maintain and continuously improve internal control frameworks in line with Banyan global standards.
• Act as senior advisor on complex accounting and financial matters.
• Partner with the General Manager to develop annual operating plans and multi‑year strategic roadmaps.
• Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis for capital allocation and investment decisions.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators covering financial health, working‑capital efficiency and cost management.
• Ensure timely and accurate statutory filings and oversee transfer‑pricing compliance.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience, preferably as a controller or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of statutory, tax and regulatory requirements in India.
• Strong track record of building finance governance, internal controls and scalable processes.
• Ability to collaborate with senior business leaders and align finance function with global standards.
• Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
