Finance Controller – FMCG Cosmetics & Toiletries

About the role

The Finance Controller will lead all financial management and reporting activities for a medium‑sized FMCG company specializing in cosmetics and toiletries. This senior position ensures compliance with regulatory standards, supports strategic decision‑making, and safeguards company assets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in line with applicable standards.
• Oversee cash‑flow management and optimise fund utilisation.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to protect assets.
• Collaborate with department heads to analyse financial data and drive cost efficiencies.
• Ensure timely compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements.
• Lead, mentor and develop the accounting and finance team.
• Provide senior management with financial insights for strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10‑12 years of experience.
• Experience in a listed consumer or pharmaceutical organisation (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Background in the FMCG sector, preferably cosmetics or toiletries.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Methodical, detail‑oriented problem‑solving approach.
