Finance Apprentice – Accounting & Controlling

About the role

Join Airbus India’s Finance department in Bangalore as a Finance Apprentice. This 12‑month program is designed for fresh graduates eager to gain hands‑on experience in controlling and accounting while supporting key financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Process supplier invoices ensuring three‑way match with PO and GRN.
• Assist with basic accounting tasks, data entry and reconciliations.
• Handle employee expense reimbursements in line with policy.
• Help generate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends and prepare summary reports.
• Create and maintain spreadsheets for various financial tasks.
• Support compliance initiatives and assist with internal audits.
• Prepare presentations on finance‑related topics.
• Contribute to special projects as required.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate (undergraduate or postgraduate) in Finance or Accounting.
• No prior full‑time professional experience.
• Ability to commit to the full 12‑month apprenticeship.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Finance & Accounting academic background.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Familiarity with Record‑to‑Report (R2R) and Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) processes.
