Finance & Accounts Faculty – AI‑Integrated BBA Program

About the role

We are looking for an innovative faculty member to lead Financial Accounting and related finance subjects within our specialized BBA in AI program. The position blends traditional accounting education with hands‑on AI tools, automated financial workflows, and data‑driven analysis to prepare students for modern finance careers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver core and elective courses (Financial Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Statement Analysis) by integrating AI workflows such as automated journalizing, AI‑assisted reconciliation, and LLM‑based query parsing.
• Design curricula, case studies, and lab modules that combine IFRS/GAAP frameworks with analytics platforms, automated reporting tools, and generative AI interfaces.
• Develop competency‑based assessments, real‑world simulation projects, automated model audits, and AI‑driven capstone projects.
• Mentor undergraduate students on applied finance‑AI projects, industry certifications, research initiatives, and career pathways in fintech and corporate finance.
• Contribute applied research or case studies at the intersection of accounting, automation, and AI; participate in departmental committees and accreditation processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (M.Com, MBA‑Finance); Ph.D. preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, ACCA, or CPA are a plus.
• 2–5 years of combined teaching or industry experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis.
• Strong grasp of financial accounting principles, corporate reporting, and IFRS/Ind‑AS/GAAP standards.

Required skills

• Familiarity with AI tools in finance (LLMs, prompt design, automated spreadsheet scripting).
• Basic Python or data‑pipeline skills for financial data processing.
• Ability to run interactive, problem‑based learning sessions and design tech‑enabled classroom exercises.
