Field Technical Lead - Data Center Deployments

About the role

Nebius is building next‑generation AI infrastructure at scale and needs a Field Technical Lead to drive on‑site execution of large‑scale data‑center deployments. You will lead technical teams and contractors to deliver GPU‑based compute clusters, storage systems and high‑speed networking on time and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Technically lead on‑site deployment of GPU compute clusters, storage platforms and high‑speed networking equipment.
• Support Project Managers in planning, coordinating and tracking delivery activities.
• Organise and supervise contractors, vendors and internal technical teams.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical and operational issues during deployments.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including deployment plans, risk logs and acceptance reports.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and manage expectations.
• Collaborate with engineering, networking, operations and supply‑chain teams.
• Participate in automation initiatives, process improvements and post‑deployment support as needed.

Required profile

• Proactive leader with ownership mindset, able to anticipate issues and drive decisions on‑site.
• Hands‑on experience with large‑scale data‑center infrastructure deployments, preferably in HPC or AI environments.
• Strong understanding of data‑center operations: racking, structured cabling, power planning and cooling.
• Technical knowledge of GPU servers, compute nodes, storage platforms and high‑speed networking technologies.
• Experience working within project delivery frameworks and managing subcontractors or vendors.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills in English.
• Ability to document processes and produce clear deployment reports.
