Field Supervisor

About the role

The Field Supervisor will oversee daily site inspections of Rural Distribution System Strengthening (RDSS) projects in the Jaipur and Jodhpur districts of Rajasthan. Reporting to the Project Manager, the role ensures that power‑distribution works meet quality standards, technical specifications and approved implementation plans.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular field visits to monitor progress of RDSS power‑distribution activities across Rajasthan.
• Verify compliance with approved Grid Transformation Plans (GTPs), technical drawings, and design standards.
• Coordinate with DISCOMs, implementing agencies, turnkey contractors and material suppliers to track execution and resolve supply‑chain issues.
• Identify potential bottlenecks, prepare remedial action plans and support timely project completion.
• Assist in the preparation and review of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and technical specifications.
• Maintain accurate site logs, inspection reports and progress documentation for stakeholder review.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supervising power‑distribution or utility infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with RDSS initiatives, Grid Transformation Plans and related technical standards.
• Ability to work independently on multiple sites and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical skills to detect implementation gaps and propose corrective measures.
