Field Supervisor – Construction

About the role

We are looking for a Field Supervisor to lead construction activities for Otis elevator projects in the Vadodara region. The role combines planning, site supervision, client interaction and safety management to ensure timely and quality delivery of installations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare business plans and monthly schedules for the assigned area.
• Plan, schedule and monitor construction jobs in consultation with the team.
• Visit sites regularly to ensure work progresses according to schedule.
• Handle client interactions, follow‑up on AMT, submit BPR and collect fixed payments.
• Ensure 100% compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with sales staff to meet customer requirements.
• Conduct field training, safety audits and job‑site inspections.
• Coordinate material deliveries from the factory and forecast labor resources.
• Develop site safety/logistics plans and assist in contingency planning for estimates.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in an engineering discipline.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
• Leadership, goal‑orientation and solid decision‑making abilities.
• 5+ years of experience in the elevator industry (preferred).

Required skills

• Elevator industry experience.
• Construction safety auditing.
