Field Service Engineer – Rotary Filling Machine (Mechanical)

About the role

Sidel is seeking a self‑motivated Field Service Engineer to install, start‑up and commission high‑speed PET, RGB and CANNING rotary filling machines at customer sites worldwide. The role combines technical expertise with customer interaction to ensure successful equipment deployment and long‑term satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, qualification, testing and performance evaluation of rotary filling equipment according to technical, contractual and safety specifications.
• Operate mechanical systems and HMI, execute electrical wiring tasks, and troubleshoot issues following Standard Operating Procedures.
• Prepare detailed job progress and technical reports, handling equipment non‑conformities and after‑sales opportunities.
• Provide technical assistance during and after warranty periods, including training and on‑site support.
• Coach junior colleagues on on‑site behavior, troubleshooting, and reporting deliverables.
• Report to the Installation Site Manager and ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of field service experience with high‑speed rotary filling machines (PET, RGB, CANNING).
• Graduate in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel up to 90 % domestically and internationally.
• Experience with other beverage equipment (blowing, capping, mixing) is an advantage.
