Field Recruiter – Logistics Talent Acquisition

About the role

Shadowfax is seeking a full‑time Field Recruiter based in Chennai to drive the hiring of delivery partners and frontline logistics staff. You will work on‑site, conducting field visits and recruitment drives to build a steady pipeline of qualified candidates that supports the company’s rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Source, screen and onboard delivery partners and other frontline logistics personnel.
• Plan and execute walk‑in recruitment events, community outreach and partnerships with local institutions.
• Conduct field visits across Chennai and nearby areas to engage potential candidates.
• Coordinate interview schedules, manage documentation and ensure compliance with local labour regulations.
• Maintain candidate databases, track recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to HR and Operations teams.
• Continuously refine hiring strategies to meet staffing targets aligned with business growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field recruitment or talent acquisition for blue‑collar roles.
• Demonstrated ability to organise hiring events and community outreach initiatives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging diverse candidate pools.
• Ability to work independently, meet targets and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in HR, Business or related field (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office or similar tools for reporting and candidate tracking.
