Field Medical Officer

About the role

The Field Medical Officer will lead health‑care and wellness initiatives for employees at Adani Power Limited’s manufacturing facilities. The role ensures occupational health safety, manages medical surveillance, and operates on‑site medical facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement occupational health care plans tailored to employee needs.
• Conduct continuous medical surveillance to monitor health risks and occupational hazards.
• Operate and maintain plant medical facilities, ensuring readiness for emergencies.
• Provide first‑aid and primary medical care for work‑related injuries and illnesses.
• Coordinate emergency response and liaise with external health providers.
• Prepare and submit health statistics, activity reports, and compliance documentation.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records for all staff.
• Design and deliver wellness awareness programs covering nutrition, hygiene, stress management and preventive care.
• Conduct regular health assessments, manage chronic conditions, and support government health initiatives.
