FDM4 Developer – Progress OpenEdge ABL Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced FDM4 Developer to design, develop, and maintain applications using Progress OpenEdge ABL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server‑side programming and be comfortable working in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance business applications using Progress OpenEdge ABL/4GL.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate solutions with ERP systems.
• Write efficient SQL queries and manage OpenEdge RDBMS objects.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment using Progress AppServer.
• Utilize modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) for front‑end components when required.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional experience in Progress OpenEdge ABL development.
• Strong understanding of Object‑Oriented and OOP concepts.
• Ability to work independently and solve complex technical problems.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Postman.
