F&B Service Associate

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and attentive F&B Service Associate to join our team at Marriott International in Mumbai. In this full‑time position you will serve food and alcoholic beverages, ensure table settings meet event standards, and provide a high level of guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic drinks to guests, answering menu questions and handling special dietary requests.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards, maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, and glassware.
• Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu items, wait times, re‑cook orders, and product availability.
• Record transactions in the MICROS POS system and present accurate checks for payment.
• Check in with guests throughout the service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Complete closing duties such as restocking, turning off lights, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in food and beverage service.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb unassisted and 50 lb with assistance.
• Clear, professional communication skills and a polished appearance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
