Fashion Designer – Women & Kids Wear

About the role

Koelle Designs is seeking a full‑time Fashion Designer to work on‑site in Jaipur. You will be responsible for creating high‑fashion women’s and kids’ collections that align with global trends and the brand’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and develop trend‑driven women’s and kids’ wear collections.
• Create mood boards, themes, prints, and colour stories.
• Prepare detailed tech packs and technical drawings for production.
• Collaborate with merchandising, sampling, and production teams to ensure design integrity.
• Oversee fittings, garment construction details, and work with embroidery and textile specialists.
• Monitor global fashion trends, especially in Europe and the Middle East, and translate them into seasonal themes.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience designing women’s and kids’ wear.
• Previous work with international fast‑fashion brands such as Zara Girls, H&M, C&A, Max (Dubai), Kmart or Next.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, fits, embellishments and garment construction.
• Experience handling export buyers and meeting international buyer requirements.
• Excellent creative and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Familiarity with CAD software for apparel design.
