Fashion Designer – Premium Women’s Wear

About the role

Nouria, a premium women’s fashion brand, is seeking a talented Fashion Designer to join its creative team in Mumbai. The role involves driving the end‑to‑end design process for upcoming collections, from trend research to final product delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Research global fashion trends, silhouettes, fabrics, colours and design directions.
• Develop concepts, mood boards and design new styles aligned with Nouria’s aesthetic.
• Create detailed technical sketches, fashion illustrations and comprehensive design sheets.
• Select fabrics, trims, colours and embellishments; prepare tech packs and measurement specifications.
• Collaborate with pattern makers, sampling teams and manufacturers, reviewing samples and providing feedback.
• Conduct fittings, adjust designs and ensure consistency in quality, fit and design across collections.
• Work with creative, marketing and merchandising teams for successful collection launches.

Required profile

• 2–4+ years of experience in women’s premium or contemporary fashion design.
• Strong understanding of silhouettes, garment construction, fabrics, fit and premium aesthetics.
• Excellent eye for colour, proportion, detailing and overall design language.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Proficiency in CorelDRAW or comparable fashion‑design software.
• Experience creating tech packs and managing product development.
