Faculty Positions in Computer Science & Engineering (Professor, Associate, Assistant)

About the role

The University of Kalyani invites applications for three regular faculty positions in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Candidates will join a vibrant academic community, contributing to teaching, research, and curriculum development across a range of emerging computing topics.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in core and elective subjects.
• Supervise and mentor MSc and PhD students on research projects.
• Develop and update curricula to reflect current industry and research trends.
• Engage in scholarly research, publish in reputable journals, and secure research funding.
• Participate in departmental and university service activities, including committees and outreach.

Required profile

• Professor: Ph.D. in Engineering/Technology, minimum 10 years teaching/research experience, API score ≥400.
• Associate Professor: Ph.D., minimum 8 years teaching/research experience, API score ≥300.
• Assistant Professor: Master’s degree with first class, demonstrated teaching or research potential.
• All candidates must be Indian citizens and meet UGC and West Bengal reservation criteria.
