Faculty Positions – Assistant, Associate & Professor (Science & Psychology)

About the role

JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) invites applications for faculty positions at the levels of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor across its Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, Psychology, Forensic Science, Data Science & Analytics, and Physics. Candidates with a strong academic record, teaching and research experience in the relevant specialisations are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in the assigned discipline.
• Conduct research and publish results in Scopus/WOS indexed journals.
• Supervise graduate students, including Ph.D. scholars where applicable.
• Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings and academic committees.

Required profile

• Assistant Professor: Minimum UG 75% or PG 55% and a Ph.D. in the relevant field.
• Associate Professor: Same academic thresholds, at least 8 years of full‑time teaching (including 2 years post‑Ph.D.) and a minimum of eight Scopus/WOS publications.
• Professor: Same academic thresholds, at least 10 years of full‑time teaching (including 3 years as Associate Professor), ten Scopus/WOS publications, and successful supervision of at least two Ph.D. scholars.
