Factory Medical Officer

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Factory Medical Officer to join our thermal power plant in Korba. The role involves delivering comprehensive medical support to plant personnel, ensuring health and safety standards are met across the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medical care and treatment to employees in case of injury or illness.
• Conduct regular health check‑ups and screenings to monitor employee well‑being.
• Manage medical emergencies and coordinate with external healthcare providers when needed.
• Develop and implement health and safety programs aimed at preventing workplace injuries and illnesses.
• Collaborate with HR and Safety departments to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Participate in incident investigations and contribute medical expertise to risk assessments.
• Train employees on first aid, safety protocols, and health awareness.
• Maintain accurate medical records and reports in line with company policies and legal requirements.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS) with AFIH certification.
• 8–13 years of experience in metal, power, manufacturing, or healthcare industries.
