Expert Middleware Engineer

About the role

Ensono is seeking an Expert Middleware Engineer to join its Strategic Accounts team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on implementing, supporting, and upgrading IBM middleware solutions for enterprise clients, ensuring high‑availability and alignment with Ensono’s cloud‑enabled infrastructure strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, support, and upgrade IBM DataPower and IBM MQ solutions with at least six years of hands‑on experience.
• Install and configure high‑availability compute solutions for business‑critical functions.
• Design and document procedures for OS patches, firmware updates, and system configuration.
• Participate in disaster‑recovery planning and system vulnerability research.
• Develop automation scripts and reporting tools using multiple scripting languages.
• Monitor system performance, tune resources, and prepare capacity/utilization reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 6+ years.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet SLAs, and deliver on production deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a results‑driven approach.

Required skills

• IBM DataPower and IBM MQ.
• High‑availability compute, virtual servers, and storage technologies (block, file, object).
• Scripting languages: Perl, Python, Bash.
• Automation tools: Chef, Puppet.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• DevOps and Agile methodologies.
