Executive Vice President, IT Architecture & Engineering

About the role

Vistra is seeking an Executive Vice President to lead its enterprise‑wide IT Architecture and Engineering function. The role will shape the technology blueprint that supports Vistra’s global delivery, automation and AI initiatives across its regulated financial services business.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise, cloud, data, integration and security architecture strategy.
• Own the global enterprise architecture framework and align it with business strategy and operating model.
• Develop multi‑year roadmaps for applications, infrastructure, cloud, data and integration platforms.
• Establish engineering and architectural standards and the onboarding/off‑boarding process for technology products.
• Reduce fragmentation and technical debt across regions and service lines.
• Act as senior advisor to the Executive Committee on technology risk, investment and prioritisation.
• Provide hands‑on leadership to ensure delivery of secure, scalable and cost‑effective solutions.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in enterprise architecture and engineering within a regulated, global financial services environment.
• Track record of driving large‑scale digital transformation, automation and AI adoption.
• Strong strategic advisory skills with the ability to influence executive decision‑making.
• Hands‑on execution capability with accountability for delivery outcomes.
