About the role

This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and basic upkeep of a professional building and its surrounding premises. The role requires a reliable individual who can work independently and respond to emergencies outside regular hours.

Key responsibilities

• Daily interior cleaning: empty waste bins, vacuum/shampoo floors and carpets, dust furniture, clean and restock restrooms, wash walls, polish and mop floors, clean windows and coverings.
• Exterior upkeep: clean building façades, windows, parking areas, walkways, gardens, outdoor furnishings, pools, fountains, curbs, and stairwells.
• Minor maintenance tasks: replace light bulbs, perform simple painting, move furniture, repair doors and gates, handle basic plumbing and fixture repairs.
• Additional duties: garden and lawn care, inventory control, snow removal, assist with tenant moves, and respond to spills or safety hazards.
• Report any building issues, equipment failures, or safety concerns promptly to management.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent technical/vocational training.
• Some experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred.
• Willingness to work evenings or weekends on call for emergencies.
• Reliable, observant, organized, flexible, and courteous.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions from a supervisor.

Required skills

• Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment.
• Ability to operate mops, vacuums, electric polishing machines, and power tools.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs.
