Executive – Production (Mangalore, India)

About the role

The Executive – Production will lead shift‑based manufacturing of dispersions at BASF's plant in Mangalore. You will ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective output while maintaining strict safety, health and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage production shifts to meet quality and output targets.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes in partnership with the Head of Dispersions Plant and Quality Control.
• Guide officers and operators to achieve international product standards.
• Implement and monitor Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) systems, including 5S, PPE usage and work permits.
• Act as incident/emergency controller during off‑hours shifts.
• Ensure emissions and discharge parameters stay within statutory limits.
• Provide training on SHE, MSDS, and responsible care for hazardous chemicals.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and BASF process‑safety codes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 4–6 years of experience in chemical process manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of chemical process operations and plant safety.
