Executive Housekeeper

About the role

The Executive Housekeeper leads the housekeeping department of Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and staff performance across 204 rooms and suites.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all statutory and health‑and‑safety requirements.
• Develop and maintain departmental systems that drive guest and associate satisfaction.
• Monitor monthly guest satisfaction scores and implement corrective actions.
• Manage stock levels, ordering supplies in coordination with the Purchase Manager to avoid over‑stocking or shortages.
• Prepare and control annual budgets, overseeing inventories of equipment, linen, and uniforms.
• Optimize resource allocation to maximize performance and cost efficiency.
• Write, implement, and train staff on policies, procedures, and health‑and‑safety protocols.
• Recruit, train, and develop housekeeping team members, fostering loyalty and high commitment.
• Address associate concerns promptly and maintain effective departmental communication.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing large‑scale housekeeping operations within a hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of statutory, health‑and‑safety, and hospitality standards.
• Ability to lead recruitment, training, and performance management initiatives.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on budgeting, inventory control, and resource optimization.
