Events Executive

About the role

The Events Executive will coordinate and deliver weddings, social gatherings, corporate meetings, conferences and exhibitions at Fairmont Mumbai. Reporting to the Events Manager, you will act as the main liaison between clients and the hotel’s operational teams, ensuring every event reflects the Fairmont brand standards and creates memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients in planning and executing a variety of events, from initial concept through post‑event follow‑up.
• Conduct site inspections, present venue options and prepare detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for all departments.
• Coordinate with Banquets, Culinary, Stewarding, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security and Front Office to set up venues according to client specifications.
• Be present on‑site during events to monitor timelines, resolve operational issues and ensure smooth execution.
• Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners and event organizers, handling inquiries and addressing guest concerns promptly.
• Gather feedback after each event to identify improvement opportunities and support revenue‑generation initiatives.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in hospitality or event management, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
