ESG Faculty – GHG Accounting & ISO 14064

About the role

The M.C. Mehta Centre for Education and Research (MCMCER) seeks an ESG Faculty member to design and deliver practitioner‑focused instruction on greenhouse‑gas (GHG) accounting, verification, and ISO 14064 standards. The role combines live online and in‑person teaching for a national and international cohort of working professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver live online and hybrid sessions on GHG accounting, verification, validation, and ISO 14064 Parts 1‑3.
• Teach related ESG programmes such as Fundamentals of ESG Practice, BRSR Reporting, Materiality Assessment, Foundations of Net Zero, and GRI Certified Training.
• Develop and continuously update course materials, case studies, verification templates, and assessment tools aligned with current standards (GHG Protocol, CDP, PAS 2060, BRSR, GRI, TCFD, ISSB).
• Guide learners through practical exercises in emissions data quality, materiality determination, evidence collection, sampling, and verification report writing.
• Evaluate assignments, case studies, and capstone projects, providing structured, actionable feedback.
• Mentor professionals transitioning into ESG and sustainability roles from non‑ESG backgrounds.
• Collaborate with the Programme Manager and advisory board on curriculum development.

Required profile

• Qualified in ESG compliance and reporting, with proven expertise in GHG inventory, quantification, and verification/validation.
• Deep knowledge of ISO 14064 (Parts 1‑3), GRI standards, BRSR, and other key ESG frameworks.
• Experience delivering adult‑learning programmes to corporate and government audiences.
• Strong ability to translate technical standards into practical, audit‑ready learning.
