About the role
The Environmental Service Aide supports the cleanliness and safety of a hospital and its affiliated buildings. This position involves routine housekeeping tasks and ensures that patient care areas remain hygienic and well‑maintained.
Key responsibilities
- Perform general housekeeping activities throughout the hospital and affiliated facilities.
- Clean patient rooms, corridors, operating theatres, and public areas according to established protocols.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling in compliance with health‑safety regulations.
- Transport and set up equipment and supplies as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and varying shifts.
