Engineering Manager

About the role

SiteMinder is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a flagship portfolio, drive technical execution, and nurture a high‑performing engineering team. You will work closely with product and engineering leaders to shape roadmaps and deliver impactful hotel‑commerce solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Set roadmap, goals, and priorities for the portfolio in partnership with product and engineering leaders.
• Drive delivery of roadmap items, ensuring high‑quality software releases.
• Build, lead, and coach technical teams, conducting regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and mentorship.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop new engineering talent.
• Promote consistent engineering practices, agile methodologies, and efficient delivery processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading and managing software/SAAS engineering teams.
• Track record of delivering technically complex projects on time and budget.
• Strong background in hiring, performance management, and career development of engineers.
• Experience working with geographically distributed, remote, or hybrid teams.

Required skills

• Agile software development and related tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Automation and AI engineering tooling.
• High‑volume real‑time systems knowledge.
• Project and change management principles.
• Experience with SaaS platforms and cloud‑native architectures.
