Senior Frontend Developer (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our engineering team in Pune on a contract basis. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create intuitive, high‑performance user interfaces for enterprise‑scale web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive user interfaces using JavaScript and React.
• Integrate and optimise headless CMS platforms such as Contentful, Sanity, Strapi or Prismic.
• Manage builds and deployments with Vercel, Webpack or similar tools.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement and refine user experiences.
• Ensure SEO best practices and accessibility standards are incorporated.
• Write clean, maintainable code with unit and integration testing coverage.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of front‑end development experience, including at least 2 years with JavaScript.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, GraphQL and HTML/CSS.
• Hands‑on experience integrating and customizing headless CMS solutions.
• Deep understanding of Next.js rendering strategies (SSR, SSG, ISR, CSR).
• Proficiency with build and deployment tools such as Vercel, Webpack, ESLint and Babel.
• Solid grasp of performance optimisation, SEO and WCAG accessibility.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks like Jest or Cypress.
