Engineer - Stores Management

About the role

The Stores Management Engineer is responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and issue of materials in accordance with company procedures. This role ensures that inventory is accurately recorded, stored under appropriate conditions, and readily available for production and customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage receipt, storage, and issue of materials following standard operating procedures.
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, invoices, and goods receipt notes.
• Maintain proper storage conditions, including ESD protection, moisture‑sensitivity level (MSL) control, and temperature regulation.
• Keep accurate inventory records in the ERP system and apply FIFO/FEFO principles.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with planning and purchasing for timely replenishment.
• Segregate materials for different customers to prevent mix‑ups and ensure correct labeling, traceability, and batch/lot control.
• Handle inward, outward, and internal material movements efficiently.
• Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and implement measures to minimise losses, damages, and discrepancies.
• Maintain 5S, safety, and compliance standards within the store area.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
• Good organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and traceability.
• Experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with planning, purchasing, and production teams.

• Proficiency with ERP systems for inventory management.
