Engineer – Plumbing & Fire Fighting

About the role

SYSTRA India is seeking a qualified Engineer to lead the design and documentation of plumbing, public health engineering, and fire‑fighting systems for its large‑scale infrastructure projects. You will work within a multidisciplinary team delivering metros, highways, bridges, and water‑related facilities across India and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare design basis reports and detailed design packages for public health engineering and fire‑fighting systems.
• Develop basic drawings, specifications, and single‑line diagrams for drainage schemes.
• Design and coordinate internal and external hydrant systems in compliance with relevant codes.
• Create plumbing layouts, including internal drainage networks.
• Prepare bills of quantities, cost estimates, and technical specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architecture engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in plumbing, drainage, or fire‑fighting system design.
