About the role
The Employability Skills Trainer will deliver a comprehensive 60‑day training program for young Indian aspirants from low‑income households. The role focuses on enhancing core employability competencies such as communicative English, digital literacy, and basic mathematics, while also providing post‑placement support.
Key responsibilities
- Train aspirants on an integrated module covering English Grammar, Spoken English, MS Office, Basic Mathematics, soft skills and work readiness (training material provided).
- Publish and follow the training plan/calendar for the centre.
- Support the assessment of aspirants.
- Provide post‑placement counselling.
- Network with guest lecturers and industry partners to arrange field visits as part of the sector readiness module.
- Hand‑hold aspirants at the workplace for a short duration after placement.
- Assist the centre with additional tasks as required.
