Embedded Test Development Engineer (5-7 yrs) – Bangalore

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Test Development Engineer to design, implement and maintain test frameworks for Linux‑based embedded solutions. You will create test methodology, write test cases, execute tests and deliver clear reports while collaborating with a global testing team and interacting directly with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test frameworks and automated test environments for embedded Linux systems.
• Define test methodology, write detailed test cases and execute functional, integration and HIL tests.
• Document test results, generate reports and archive work products following agile processes.
• Train and support test engineers in using the test infrastructure.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to troubleshoot integration issues.
• Ensure on‑time delivery of test environments and automated test scripts.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in software testing and test development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and follow defined processes.

Required skills

• Embedded Linux testing and software‑hardware integration.

• Automated test script development (Python preferred).
• Debugging and profiling of embedded software.
