About the role
We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer (EPT2) to join Bosch’s Global Software Technologies team in Bangalore. The role involves close collaboration with German customers to translate requirements into robust embedded solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Gather and define software requirements together with German customers.
- Coordinate technical specifications and work packages with partners.
- Design and develop software architecture for embedded platforms.
- Implement and validate embedded software, including driver development and board bring‑up.
Required profile
- BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical & Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- 4‑6 years of experience in embedded software development.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Team player capable of guiding technical teams.
Required skills
- Embedded C and C++ programming, including advanced C++ (design patterns, templates).
- Driver development for interfaces such as SPI, I2C, DMA, ADC, UART.
- Experience with STM32, GigaDevice, TI or TLE microcontrollers.
- Software architecture and UML design.
- Unit, integration and system testing.
- Agile development methodologies.
- Platform development and board bring‑up.
